Hydrafacial at Clifford Clinic

Hello dear readers! My weeks have been hectic as usual so pardon me for the lack of update! Have been so busy that I am falling sick as usual. Sometimes I wonder if I abuse my body too much hehe. Due to my improper removal of makeup, I would just crash on my bed after work or school. Thus my pores became extremely clogged. Thankfully, The Clifford's Clinic Hydrafacial saved my skin!

A picture at the recent car show over the weekend. Clear skin possible thanks to The Clifford Clinic~~

What is Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial has actually been around for a few years. With the Hydrafacial, you can expect the following results:

-Visibly reduced fine lines and wrinkles

-Diminished hyper pigmentation

-Improved acne prone skin

-Refined skin tone and skin texture

-Hydrated skin

I did not know what to do with my clogged pores so I consulted Doctor Chow and he recommended the Hydrafacial. It is a 5 step non surgical and needle-less procedure which is done within 30 minutes. Hydrafacial works because it hydrates your face and removes dead skin cells and impurities from your skin.

Made an appointment with the front desk and headed down to the clinic. Was lead to this room to put my stuff down and change for the facial.

The Hydrafacial machine! There are so many bottles inside because each bottle is specially used for each step of the Hydrafacial procedure. The nurse explained the following procedures of hydrafacial to me:

5 steps of Hydrafacial

Step 1: Cleansing and Exfoliation

First you dead skin cells would be removed by cleansing and exfoliation

Step 2: Acid Peel

Acid Peels would be used to loosen dirt from your pores

Step 3:Extractions

Next, your pores will be cleanlessly cleaned using vortex suction

Step 4: Hydration

Antioxidants and Hyaluronic are Vortex-Fused to nourish and protect your skin

Step 5: Protection

The HydraFacial daily essentials will be used to protect your skin and maintain results

I was given a bath robe and had to change into it!

The entire procedure took 30 minutes and by the end of it, I was feeling extremely refreshed! This is an unglam picture of my messy hair and no makeup after the facial hahaha. I felt that my face had a raw and awakened feel to it. Best of all my blackheads were also visibly reduced.

I really loved the facial because there was no painful extraction! I used to go for facial where the beautician used manual extraction by hand. Although it worked, I would often go home with red marks on my face. Hydrafacial on the other hand, exfoliates dead skin cells and removes impurities using a vacuum based skin abrasion tip. It also provide antioxidant protection.

That way, it leaves no markings or red spots. My skin felt so supple and I couldn't resist pressing my cheeks lol! Suddenly I got a glimpse of how my tired skin actually looked like when I was 14 (I am not exaggerating! It was a moment where I realized what they have been saying about age is real HAHAHA ).
