Hiko Nose Threadlift at The Clifford Clinic
Hi dear readers! Today I would like to share about my Hiko Nose Threadlift with The Clifford Clinic again! This time I felt that the middle area of my nose seem to have decreased in height, so without any invasive plastic surgery, downtime or fillers, Doctor Chow Yuen Ho worked his magic with his Ultra V Hiko Nose Threads!
Nose threadlifts offers the following benefits:
Natural looking definition on nose bridge
Straightening and creating higher nose bridge
Lifting and/or reducing nose tip for slender/sharper tip

Upon arrival at the clinic, the nurses helped to apply numbing cream on my nose. Waited for a few moments to take effect before heading into the consultation room.

With Doctor Chow! I swear I really hate to see the doctor but he is the only doctor I am looking forward to see hahaha. He was so cheerful despite falling sick over chinese new year.

Beginning the process! After the nose and face are cleaned to remove any makeup and dirt, local analgesia was injected at the nose tip. Tiny vibrations was applied to my chin to distract me from the injection

à little blood was expected but I did not feel any pain. As he prepared the threads, I could still selfie lol!
How does a nose threadlift work?
Nose threadlift is a non-surgical treatment which uses special PDO (polydixanone) threads. PDO is absorbable by the body (within 6 to 12 months) and commonly used in surgical sutures for wound closure.
When inserted into strategic places, it acts as a scaffold or structure. Overtime, collagen and tissue fibroblasts would be produced around the thread and gives you the desired definition and shape. When these threads dissolve, it leaves behind your newly defined nose due to the nose producing its own collagen and connective tissues along the PDO fiber path.
The effect of the nose threadlift is about 1 to 2 years.

Doctor Chow actually honed his skills in Japan, Korea and Philippines! This procedure was very quick and usually only takes about 15-20 minutes to be completed. Unlike fillers, nose threads have no risk of broadening or have the possibility of causing blindness from vessel occlusion.
After inserting a few threads, Doctor Chow passed me a mirror to see if I was alright with the results. I was very amazed at the higher nose bridge but he suggested to add a few more thread. Trusting his professional judgement, I went ahead with it (And it really looked better! haha)

And we are done! Hello higher nose bridge~!
Usually, up to 95% of patients are satisfied with the results. Those who are not might have experienced poor results due to wrong number/type of threads used or wrong technique resulting in error during placement of threads.
It is difficult to remove the threads once they are placed so It important to choose a good and reliable doctor for optimal results!
