Rejuran Skin Healer (PDRN) at The Clifford Clinic
Hi readers! Today I'm so excited to share with you a treatment I did over at The Clifford Clinic earlier this afternoon! If you have been an avid reader of my blog, you would not be unfamiliar with my favourite aesthetic clinic! Located just a stone throw beyond the CBD and few steps away from the MRT station, it is a super central place for maintaining your beauty needs!
So what did I do over at The Clifford Clinic?

Rejuran Skin Healer!
If you were as clueless as me when I first heard it from Doctor Chow, here is the information I gathered after trawling the internet like an excited kid!
What is it?
Rejuran Healer (PDRN/Baby skin injection) is:
a skin treatment made of biological molecules called polynucleotides (PN)
an effective treatment that helps in regeneration of skin by up to 20%
made from salmon DNA
also used in hospitals for limb ischemia, impaired wound healing and burn injury.
Rejuran Healer (PDRN/Baby skin injection) helps in:
faster wound healing/ anti-inflammation.
improve skin elasticity, hydration
reduce fine lines and wrinkles,
improving the function of your skin’s barrier
normalizing skin
improving skin tone and texture
Armed with an abundance of anticipation, I headed down to the clinic to get my skin amped up after my the damage done by insane insomniac nights!

At the room to remove my makeup before heading to the consultation room to meet Dr Chow for the procedure!

Dr Chow graduated from the National University of Singapore, and went on to clinical rotations in General Dermatology at Singapore General Hospital’s (SGH) Department of Dermatology. He has more than 10 years of clinical practice experience, where he has a special interest in aesthetic dermatological procedures and lasers. Dr Chow has accomplished much in this field, having been the founding Director of Medical Informatics at SGH, and subsequently heading the Asian division of multinational corporation Alert Life Sciences Computing as Managing Director.
Simply put, he is the doctor I trust for my aesthetic needs!

Applied two layers of numbing cream before Rejuran!
There are several series of Rejuran. The doctors at The Clifford Clinic will analyse and recommend the best treatment for your skin condition.
Rejuran HB: Rejuran HB strengthens the skin’s regeneration ability, replenishes moisture and reduces pain
Rejuran : Reduces wrinkles around the eyes and crow’s feet while improving elasticity
Rejuran s: Reduces scars (depressed and sunken scars), increases volume around the depressed area to make skin smooth again

Went into the room and Doctor showed me the injector gun he would be using. He warned me that it would be painful (much more painful than the skin booster) so at this point I was kind of nervous and scared (chants *beauty is pain* in my mind) but actually when he administered the device it was actually bearable. Like 2/10?

Administering the injector gun~ I think the pain factor was not as adverse as I thought it would be because the assistant was working together with doctor to apply the vibrating device which played a significant role in ameliorating the fact that I am having 9 needles injected into my face at once lols!
After the procedure was done (within 10 minutes), Doctor Chow checked in with me if I was alright. It was less painful than I thought it would be, and amazingly it hurt less than the Restylane skinbooster. When I looked into the reflection, I was pleasantly surprised to find no bumpy marks being left behind (unlike the 9 point skin booster). There was literally no downtime.
REJURAN CAN HELP WITH:
Wrinkles, fine lines and crow’s feet around the eyes
Enlarged pores
Sagging skin
Dark eye circles or panda eyes
Acne scars
Stretch Marks
Oh, and the common misconception is that Skinbooster and Rejuran are the same thing, read HERE to find out the difference.
I cannot wait for a month to pass before I start to see results. Rejuran will take time for it to take effect and it is recommended to undergo the treatment three to four times, every two to four weeks. After that, the maintenance recommended is just once every six to nine months!
